As of April 30, 2013, small systems have received 188 of the 260 loans (72%) for a total of $208,623,712.85 of the total $523,056,426.00 (40%) committed in loans. Systems serving a population of 5,000 or fewer are classified as small systems under the Kansas Public Water Supply Loan Fund.

Public Water Supply Loan Fund

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has contracted with the Kansas Rural Water Finance Authority to prepare a financial capacity analysis of all loan applications to the Kansas Public Water Supply Loan Fund.
